halloween

St. Kitts does not celebrate halloween, which is very unfortunate for them, but the students here don't forget our American roots quite that easily.  We all headed to the Pink Elephant last Friday night dressed up as lots of things including an incredible, a loofah, blue man group, price is right contestant, where's waldo, a christmas present, Mr. potato head and a countless number of other very creative costumes.  Halloween always amazes me because year after year there are still costumes that I never would have thought of.  I love seeing everyone all dressed up!  I recycled my incredibles costume from junior year in college, but it was not the same without the rest of the incredibles crew...miss you KT, Melissa, Nick, and Jenny!

A surprise package from the lovely Shalini and Kristen also added to my St. Kitts halloween.  The package was full of cards, lollipops, candy corn, and love.  =)  Thanks guys!  Can't wait to see you in 42 days!

The prep school on campus, where students and faculty send their children to school, also had a halloween parade last Friday.  The kids trick-or-treated by going to different classes and showing off their costumes.  It was a nice break from our microanatomy lab and the kids were so cute!

and in memory of our epic junior year at etown...
